Award-winning non-executive Director Clive Bawden, founder of BoardSecure, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker on a webinar focused on running successful virtual board meetings – for charities and SMES - to be hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
Hosted by Julia Root-Gutteridge, Manager for Board Effectiveness, ICAEW, the webinar to be held on Tuesday 28th April at 11am, will focus on practical tips on running successful virtual board meetings, as well as insights into how to manage board dynamics digitally.
"I am delighted to have been asked to speak on this webinar." said Bawden. "Smaller charities and SMEs are suddenly faced with holding board meetings virtually and many face tough decisions in coming months. Having been been running SMEs for over a decade now, as well as holding a number of charity and sporting roles, I am lucky enough to have picked up some skills running efficient and effective board meetings (in a variety of different situations). Solving the pain I saw in many of the specific scenarios we will address contributed to setting up BoardSecure after all to solve them. I look forward to bringing this real-world experience to this webinar."
